A Meaningful Ceremony at First Congregational Church
The morning began with that quiet, excited energy that always surrounds a wedding day. Surrounded by their closest loved ones, Erin got ready with beauty by Erica Eigensee Artistry and hair by Lauren Wolff Hair Design. Her gown, customized to perfection by Carole Kenny after finding it at Luxe Redux Bridal, suited her so well — classic, romantic, and effortlessly elegant.
Their ceremony at First Congregational Church was filled with emotion. The towering architecture, stained glass, and warm acoustics created a sacred, intimate atmosphere. Watching Erin walk down the aisle toward Jeff beneath the historic arches was one of those moments everyone felt in their chest. Their vows were heartfelt and sincere — a true reflection of the life they’re building together.

After the ceremony, we wandered around the State House. The November light was soft and glowy, and Erin and Jeff were simply natural together. Every look, every laugh, every little moment between them felt easy and real. A Statehouse Reception Filled With Candlelight
When guests arrived at The Ohio Statehouse for the reception, they stepped into a scene that felt like historic elegance blended with modern romance. Event coordinator Meredith Browning with Auburn & Ivory Creative transformed the space into something breathtaking.
Velvet sage linens, lush floral arrangements, and the warm glow of tall taper candles filled the rotunda. Alex with Sweet Blossoms designed florals that felt organic and garden-inspired — soft peaches, creams, blush tones, and textured greenery that played beautifully with the Statehouse’s marble and architectural lines.
Metro Cuisine crafted an incredible dinner experience, and guests enjoyed the sweetest cake from Lauren at Nursery Lane Bakery before heading to the dance floor. DJ Mike Salone with DJ Axcess kept the room alive all night — the kind of celebration where every age group is dancing, laughing, and fully present.

What made the day unforgettable wasn’t just the design or the venues. It was Erin and Jeff — the way they look at each other, the way their families adore them, the way they made every moment intentional and full of meaning.
